X Alpha AI is built by ERBrains IT Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Most AI assistants live in someone else's data centre. Your questions, files and work travel there and back. For a lot of everyday work, that isn't necessary any more: open models are now good enough to run on an ordinary laptop.
X Alpha AI makes that practical. It checks your computer, picks models that fit, and adds what a local model is missing on its own: current information from the web, and a browser it can use with your permission.
We started with a VS Code extension for local code completion and chat. The desktop app grew out of it and is now our main product. It's in testing on Windows and macOS.
Local first
If a model can run on your computer, it should. Offline, private and free to use.
