Windows says it protected my PC

Test builds aren't signed yet. Choose More info → Run anyway.

macOS says the app can't be opened or is damaged

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway next to X Alpha AI. You only need to do this once per version.

Answers are slow

• Check the model's label on the Models screen. Runs slowly models are partly on the processor.
• Try a smaller version of the same model, or a smaller model.
• Close other apps that use a lot of memory, or lower the context window in Settings → Model settings.

A download stopped

Press Resume. Downloads continue where they left off, even after a restart. If it fails again, check your free disk space.

Web search finds nothing

Some search engines occasionally ask for a captcha. The app tries others; try again in a minute. If you run SearXNG, check that it's reachable at the address in Settings → Web search.
